Think Julius Caesar and Cleopatra, not Shakespeare's story. I didn't know this until I got the the theater and was pleasantly surprised with the story line.Pros: Interesting story and fantastic sets. It was quite modern almost pop art, but costuming was true to the time period. It served the story well.
Cons: Once again we had a women singing a male part. And that part was Caesar! It just throws me. It really really does.
